The excellent volley of willian gave Chelsea victory over Lille within their Champions League group stage game in France.

This was the first time since March 2012 that two Englishmen united to score at the Champions League to get Chelsea – the final when present boss Lampard set up John Terry – and Abraham would be hoping to get a call-up into his nation’s senior side when the team is called on Thursday.
James has been a hazard from and became the first teenager to begin for Chelsea in the Champions League because Ruben Loftus-Cheek in 2015 – with his speed to exploit the distance behind and delivering strikes.
And Tomori was outstanding at the rear, while documenting his assist.
In a season where Chelsea’s youngsters have impressed, it was 31-year-old Willian who supplied the quality needed to acquire in Europe.
As he saw 18-year-old Hudson-Odoi’s cross fly onto his boot before he fired it and over the horn the method in his volley was beautiful.
